[Hackney Foodbank](https://www.hackney.foodbank.org.uk/) is an independent charity within the Trussell Trust network, based close to our London head office. In 2024 they provided the equivalent of more than 260,000 meals for people experiencing extreme hardship. As the cost of living continues to rise and wages fail to keep pace, more families are struggling to afford everyday essentials. One in four Londoners now lives in poverty and the number of households claiming Universal Credit is at a record high. Hackney Foodbank provides vital support to those in crisis, not only through emergency food parcels but their in-house caseworkers help people to better their situations through support with benefits, grants for furniture, fuel and clothing and linking them with an expert debt advisor. We chose to partner with Hackney Foodbank because of our shared focus on practical support and helping people overcome barriers. At Vantage Point, we believe in creating opportunities for people to grow and succeed, no matter their background. Our first initiative of the year was an Easter egg collection, involving our employees and neighbouring businesses. The aim was simple: to make sure families facing financial pressure could still enjoy the celebrations—and no child felt left out. We look forward to supporting Hackney Foodbank throughout the year and helping them continue their essential work. > "We’re so thankful to Vantage Point for selecting us as their Charity of the Year.  Demand at our food bank is up 20% in just a year – we are currently supporting around 750 people per week and we rely on the kindness of the community and the business community to ensure no-one goes hungry. For the children we support, receiving an Easter egg brings a wonderful moment of joy." > > Jenna Fansa, Head of Fundraising at Hackney Foodbank - ![Hackney-Foodbank-Positive-Logo-RGB](https://www.vantagepointglobal.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Hackney-Foodbank-Positive-Logo-RGB.png?width=2241&height=1014&name=Hackney-Foodbank-Positive-Logo-RGB.png) Hover message - ![Easter egg collection](https://www.vantagepointglobal.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Easter%20egg%20collection.jpeg?width=1816&height=2420&name=Easter%20egg%20collection.jpeg) Hover message > "Absolutely delighted that Vantage Point Global have selected Hackney Foodbank as our chosen charity for 2025! I have been lucky enough to be involved with Hackney Foodbank as a Trustee for nearly 3 years now and it is a truly wonderful organisation that does so much for the people of Hackney. I'd like to thank the lovely businesses and people we work alongside who have donated Easter Eggs which will be so gratefully received by families across Hackney and will provide much joy to children across the borough." > > ![Tim Bethel](https://www.vantagepointglobal.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Tim%20Bethel.jpeg?width=100&height=101&name=Tim%20Bethel.jpeg) > > Tim Bethel, CEO of Vantage Point Global   [Charity & Partnerships](https://www.vantagepointglobal.com/news/tag/charity-partnerships) ## Related posts [![VP new partnership with Movement to Work](https://www.vantagepointglobal.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Mtw%20work%20blog.png?height=200&name=Mtw%20work%20blog.png)](https://www.vantagepointglobal.com/news/vantage-point-partner-with-movement-to-work) [Charity & Partnerships](https://www.vantagepointglobal.com/news/tag/charity-partnerships) ## [Vantage Point partner with Movement to Work](https://www.vantagepointglobal.com/news/vantage-point-partner-with-movement-to-work) [Isabel Ward](https://www.vantagepointglobal.com/news/author/isabel-ward) Mar 5, 2025 3:03:01 PM At Vantage Point, we believe that talent should be assessed based on ambition and potential rather...
