We're thrilled to share that Ryan Featherstone, a Business Operations Analyst based in Belfast, is April 2026's Consultant of the Month. Ryan has embraced his assignment with energy and professionalism, going the extra mile to support his fellow consultants and serving as a great ambassador for the Vantage Point values.
We asked Ryan to share his experience as a Vantage Point consultant so far.

My background
After graduating with a degree in Computer Science in 2024, I secured a role as a programmer at a firm near my hometown. Quite quickly, as I began thinking about what I wanted from my career, I realised I wanted to further develop my skills in ways that weren’t possible in this position.
While exploring new opportunities, I was contacted by Vantage Point about a Business Operations role with one of their clients in Belfast. After an initial screening, I was offered an online interview, which is when I first met Client Delivery Lead, Rudolph.
I remember feeling a bit stressed as the interview was scheduled quite suddenly. However, as soon as the call began, Rudolph immediately put me at ease. That set the tone for the entire conversation; it was relaxed, supportive, and allowed me to fully express myself and demonstrate what I could bring to the role.
Preparing for my client interview
Shortly after, I was invited to interview with the client, which was scheduled for the very next day. Once again, Rudolph reassured me that I wouldn’t be preparing alone. He arranged for me to have interview preparation sessions with two of Vantage Point's training team, Tim and Emily, who were just as supportive.
Tim and Emily took time to ensure I felt confident and prepared. They shared valuable advice, including how to structure answers using the STAR technique - a structured method for answering interview questions by breaking down examples into Situation, Task, Action, and Results - and helped me come up with thoughtful questions I could ask during the interview. Their guidance made a huge difference.
Training for the role
I was thrilled to be offered the role, and soon joined Vantage Point’s Simulate training alongside other new consultants. This was a fantastic experience; not only did I learn more about my strengths (including insights from CliftonStrengths), but I also built strong connections with others who would be joining the same client site. That sense of community made the transition into the client much easier.
What stood out to me most during training was how personable Tim and Emily were. They created an environment that was both professional and relaxed, treating everyone with respect while keeping things engaging and enjoyable. The days genuinely flew by.
My client assignment
Since starting on the client site, my experience has been extremely positive. Joining alongside others in the same position created a strong sense of camaraderie; we supported each other from day one, which helped build confidence as we settled into our roles. It’s been especially rewarding to see everyone grow, developing into capable analysts and gaining confidence in their abilities.
Why Vantage Point?
For me, one of the biggest benefits of being part of Vantage Point is the level of support available. While my client provides excellent support day-to-day, having an additional network I can rely on - whether for guidance or even the many questions I send Rudolph’s way - has been invaluable in helping me perform at my best.
My advice to anyone looking to take the next step in their career is to take the leap with Vantage Point and the Elevate Programme. The opportunities available, particularly in the current job market, are second to none.
As I’ve mentioned, the support provided by Vantage Point truly sets it apart. The way they invest in you as a person, rather than just a number, makes it a standout choice for anyone starting their career.
I’m proud to be part of Vantage Point and excited to keep growing in the months ahead.
