Vantage Point awarded silver medal by EcoVadis

Vantage Point Global has been awarded a silver medal by EcoVadis, the world's largest provider of corporate sustainability ratings, for the second year in a row. EcoVadis evaluated VP's working practices across four categories - Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement - analysing key metrics, company policies, and practices in place.

Vantage Point is proud to be a social impact business, so we are extremely proud to once again receive this accreditation. With a silver medal, we are within the top 15% of the 130,000+ companies scored worldwide.

Environment

We used the EcoVadis carbon estimator to calculate our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The tool gave us a detailed understanding of the emissions generated by our activities, and in particular, travel-related emissions. As an organisation, we are dedicated to minimising our carbon footprint by reducing travel and holding virtual meetings and training whenever possible. However, for essential travel undertaken in 2023, we offset our environmental impact by partnering with 'Just One Tree'. This tree-planting initiative not only helps absorb the carbon dioxide emitted but also contributes to reforestation efforts, supporting biodiversity and enhancing the natural environment. As a business, we will continue to strive to make a positive difference for the planet.

Accessibility

Vantage Point is proud to be a social impact company, with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) deeply embedded at the core of everything we do. We are committed to offering equal opportunities to everyone. This year we joined a government initiative and became a disability confident employer. This scheme provides us with a structured framework and accountability from a third party to ensure that we maintain comprehensive accessibility throughout our recruitment processes. By participating, we are actively working to break down barriers and create a more equitable hiring process, ensuring that individuals with disabilities are given fair consideration and support. Our goal is to cultivate a diverse workforce that reflects the communities around us, and we are committed to continuously improving our practices to achieve this vision.
