Elevating Lives, Careers, and Communities: 2024 in Review

As I reflect on the past year, my first as CEO of Vantage Point Global, I am hugely grateful both for the opportunity to lead a social impact business, and the extraordinary achievements of our team. Our mission has always been to elevate the careers of talented individuals from underserved communities while delivering exceptional workforce solutions tailored to the needs of our clients. In 2024, we lived this mission every day, with the tireless efforts of our Chief Operating Officer, Tracy Jordan, helping to drive our results-focused approach.

Transforming Careers with the Elevate Programme

With over a decade of experience, our flagship HTD solution, the Elevate Programme continued to change lives and reshape organisations. It delivered unparalleled outcomes: a 90%+ retention and conversion rate and an average tenure of 4.04 years post-conversion. Using our award-winning Simulate methodology, our in-house faculty delivered 23 bespoke training courses, preparing the next generation of VP consultants to excel in banking, fintech, and professional services.

Our reach expanded further with two new UK locations, Manchester and Newcastle, staffed by our new HR, Recruitment and Delivery Administrator Natalia Nowik, and thanks to the enormous hard work of our Financial Director Dinesh Nevins-Selvadurai, our first African location, Cape Town. These locations are more than just hubs for our Elevate consultants; they are opportunities to foster local talent, drive financial empowerment, and provide critical skills training to our future leaders. To strengthen our community, our Client Delivery team, headed by Rudolph Knight, hosted 43 in-person social events with consultants in these new locations, the rest of the UK, and across Poland. This significant increase not only strengthened our connections but also had a clear impact: our September employee survey revealed a team of highly engaged and genuinely happy consultants. We also launched our Alumni Network, creating opportunities for our former consultants to connect and advance their careers while providing invaluable support to our newer consultants.

Launching Talent On-Demand

This year also marked the launch of our Talent On-Demand solutions. Designed for flexibility and scalability, these offerings provide multidisciplinary pods, resource augmentation, and Training-as-a-Service - designed by our lead trainers Tim Parr and Emily Webb - empowering our clients to tackle workforce challenges with confidence wherever they arise.

A New Look for 2024

To help us continue attracting high-potential talent from diverse backgrounds, the talented Isabel Ward joined us in the summer to rebrand and relaunch our website. Her efforts paid off: our careers page saw an impressive 21.5k visits, drawing interest from exceptional candidates worldwide.

July also saw us moving our headquarters into a new London office, a gargantuan task only possible thanks to the dedication of our fantastic Head Office Administrator, Harry Scott.

Championing Representation and Equity

Diversity and inclusion remain core to our identity, and the way we scope and deliver talent solutions to our clients achieve exactly that. With Cindy Sharman leading our sales group I know for sure that we have a champion who will drive those core values, for us and for our clients. This year, 44% of our workforce identified as women or non-binary, and we continued to prioritise pay equity, publishing a gender pay gap of –2.47%* - a remarkable achievement and a testament to our values. Thanks go to our in-house data wizard, Conor Dargis, for helping us understand how well we are doing as an organisation.

Inclusion means action. We forged six new community partnerships this year, including becoming one of the very first strategic partners of Women in Banking and Finance. This partnership holds special significance for our COO, Tracy, who has passionately championed women in finance over her 28-year career in investment banking and fintech, winning WIBF’s Champion for Women award in 2017.

We also joined Neurodiversity in Business, an industry forum launched this year at the Houses of Parliament, to foster greater workplace inclusion for neurodivergent individuals. With a growing number of neurodivergent candidates and consultants within our ranks, we are committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where everyone can thrive and ask for what they need to succeed.

Measuring our Impact

Industry accreditations are an important way to demonstrate that we take seriously our responsibility to people, society, and the planet. In 2024, we became Disability Confident Committed Employer to help us ensure we are doing everything we can to help disabled talent join our organisation.

We were also proud to receive a silver medal from EcoVadis for the second consecutive year, recognising our commitment to sustainability across human rights, ethics, and environmental practices. Using their tool, we measured the greenhouse gas emissions of our essential travel and partnered with JUST ONE Tree to offset our carbon impact. By planting trees, we’re taking small but meaningful steps to combat climate change and increase biodiversity.

Looking Ahead

None of these achievements would have been possible without the passion, talent, and determination of my team across Europe, Africa, and the Americas. As we look to 2025, I am confident that we will continue to elevate lives, foster inclusion, and drive innovation across industries.

Thank you to everyone – our consultants, clients, partners, and my team - who have joined us on this journey in 2024. Together, we are building a brighter, more equitable future.

* Our gender pay gap analysis was conducted using the UK government's standard methodology.
